Therapeutic Yoga uses supported yoga postures in combination with bodywork to release physical and emotional blockages held within the bodily tissues. It is a hands-on treatment that places you into postures using props and hands-on guidance to access a deeper stretch and corrective alignment. Bodywork is also incorporated with the postures to help the body open up to what is being held within.
Therapeutic Yoga and Bodywork is generally performed on the floor. After discussing your needs at each session, you will be guided through a series of postures that best address those needs.
